Back in 1920, Ales Pietro began his roasting business in Palermo in Piazzetta della Messinese. Ales cultivated his passion for coffee, soon transforming it into a business capable of purchasing batches of green coffee in the most renowned markets, obtaining roasted coffee, creating the tastiest blends and marketing the fruit of his labor.
In 1935 Ales Caffe was founded by his son Francesco, it is now a company with a long experience in the art of roasting. Always stable in the same historic headquarters, in 1953 the company opened a new store in Via Montalbo, a new dynamic and modern reality, continuously researching and developing new products to achieve full satisfaction of its customers. Since 1983 our commercial and logistics headquarters are located in the modern building in Via Montepellegrino, where they are managed by Francesco's sons and dynamically customer services and synergies between the various business sectors, vacuum-packed coffee in 250g packs, Coffee beans for Bars in 1kg packs and pods for Vending.
Starting in 2009, on the occasion of the 89th Anniversary of Ales Caffe', big news will bring important changes for the company: a new image for the coffee pods and the new “Chiccolone” brand.
